Addressing Underlying Health Conditions
Many health conditions can contribute to weight gain or make it harder to lose weight. For example, conditions such as hypothyroidism, PCOS, and insulin resistance can affect metabolism and make weight loss more difficult. A medical approach to weight loss involves identifying and addressing these underlying health conditions. Our medical team will evaluate your medical history and symptoms to determine if any health conditions may be contributing to your weight gain. We will then develop a treatment plan that addresses these conditions and supports your weight loss goals.
Prescribing Medications
In some cases, medications can be beneficial for weight loss. For example, medications may be prescribed to help suppress appetite, reduce cravings, or increase metabolism. A medical approach to weight loss involves using medications when appropriate to help our clients achieve their goals. Our medical team will evaluate your medical history and symptoms to determine if medications may be helpful for you. If so, we will prescribe medications that are safe and effective for your individual needs.
